Samariteen Helpline, www.samaritansofboston.org/index.php/teen-helpline.html, is a 24-hour crisis hotline where teens feeling lonely, depressed, hopeless, stressed, or overwhelmed can speak to teen volunteers between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m., and to adults at other hours. Call 1-800-252-TEEN (8336).

The Door, www.door.org, is a multiservice youth agency in New York City. It provides many kinds of support to teens, including counseling, college advisement, and services for homeless and runaway youth.
